After the successful Best of Brass, vol. 1 release with European Champion Willebroek, now Brass Band De Wâldsang - Rieks van der Velde in the spotlights.

The Band has won thirteen Dutch champion titles and has entered the European Brass Band Championships eighteen times. Besides taking part in contests “De Wâldsang” has an excellent name as a concert band in The Netherlands and in many other European countries. On this recording you can listen to excellent testpieces, but also to some short concertworks.

A double CD over 150 min. high quality live recordings recorded at WMC. A big part of the compositions is filled with typical British brass band composers (Sparke and Wilby) and with the performances of top soloists Bert Van Thienen (cornet) and Stef Pillaert (euphonium) this recording earns the title The Best of Brass.
